Due to my loss of interest in music production and lack of motivation, I'm going to permanently retire from "LeafCore". I will not release music under this name again. My NewGrounds account will remain up (hopefully) permanently, though it'll be inactive from now on.

It's been an absolute pleasure working as LeafCore for the past 3 years. I've gone through a wild ride since the creation of this project, and I'm proud of what I left behind, even if its completely insignificant. Thank you everyone for your support over the years, it means more than the entire world to me <3

I'll never forget this journey, and I hope I get to see you all in the future!

It's been some time since the last time I wrote one of these, and I have to say, it's been a rocky 6 months. School started, moved to a new home, all that shit. Anyways let's talk music.

LEAFCORE: 0

I'm happy to say that LEAFCORE: 0 will release in a month, specifically, on July 6th. The tracks included have remained unchanged since last time, however, the order of them is a bit different. The current lineup is:

• Mengersponge (Intro) (Length: 1:49)

While this Album releases, I wanna tell you all that I've been (not so) super secretly posting music under a different name (in fact, I released a piano "arrangement" of The Everlasting today). You can find it here, and I hope it's enough to pass the time.

Hey all.

I apologize for my extreme inactivity. I've been caught up in a lot of stuff both online and offline.

So, about that stargazing remix, I hope nobody gets too upset about this but, it's not gonna release for a while. The reason for that is because I'M RELEASING IT AS PART OF A NEW EP!

For clarification, I'm planning on releasing something special for the 3 year anniversary of LeafCore (as in, the date I made the LeafCore YouTube channel), and that something includes all my work since Season 2 released.

My next project, titled "LeafCore: 0" is set on... Everything that makes up the LeafCore name. The kinds of crazy shit I do, packed up and ready to be shown to everyone. The current track lineup is:

I've kept you all in the dark for quite some time now, and I think you should know what I've been up to recently... What have I even been up to?

Okay so, for starters, I've been quite busy. After I released Season 2 on Spotify, I marked that as the end of LeafCore. However, life likes to do this thing called "being unpredictable", and as such, I've been going in and out of Ableton trying to make new tunes. One of those is a """remastered""" version of Stargazing, that sounds almost nothing like Stargazing. You can listen to part of that on my SoundCloud.

Second, I've been dedicating most of my time and energy to a very special person I met. Someone who holds a very special place in my heart, someone who's made my life a lot better. Won't tell you much about this, but basically, she's absolutely amazing. <3

Third, I just, found other things to do. Apart from what I said above, I've been mostly playing games, like PAYDAY 2, Genshin Impact (yes i play that and yes im sorry), Osu!, and many others that I don't feel like listing; I've just been enjoying my life a bit more.

So... Is LeafCore finally dead? Of course not lmao.

Apart from the Stargazing remix I've been working on, I've also been working on artwork a fair bit. What I'm trying to say is: Maybe LeafCore Music will become really inactive. BUT LEAFCORE ART MIGHT BECOME A THING.

No promises of course, but that Stargazing remix might be coming out either next month, or sometime before the year ends.

You may have noticed the lack of music or any content on here, and I am really sorry for that.

During these past few weeks/months, a lot of things got in my way which prevented me from making any content. These things include my pc breaking down, dealing with a massive downfall in my happiness, and school work.

All of these plus the fact that I'm currently on my finals have taken a considerable chunk of my time, leaving only a tiny space for my social media. And my newgrounds page is really affected by that, since I mainly have it for music lol. Less music = Less newgrounds content.

The good thing is, I've managed to get some very small chunks of time in order to work on a very possible ep/album (which might or might not be dropping here in 1-2 weeks) that I feel like you guys will definitely enjoy!

Apart from this, I think after that, it would be a good time to message Robtop, the creator of Geometry Dash, to whitelist my songs, so you guys can use them in your wacky levels too! And maybe upload some artwork I got laying around over here.

I'm gonna try my best to make these plans actually happen, and basically make my online presence a bit more known.
